PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a hollow porous polymer particle-containing composition for coating having excellent heat resistance and a sheet of coated paper. SOLUTION: This heat-resistant coating composition is obtained by including hollow porous polymer particles and a heat resistance improver selected from the group consisting of polyacrylamide or derivatives thereof, a melamine resin, a urea resin, cellulose or derivatives thereof, starch or derivatives thereof, casein, a soybean protein, gelatin and a combination thereof. The sheet of coated paper is formed by coating a substrate sheet with the composition for coating.
