PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a double-coated pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which is used for fixing an abrasive, has suitable tackiness and releasability, and can smoothly polish an object (e.g. a lens). SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has an elastic modulus of 200-2,000 MPa and is prepared by forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a thickness of 0.02-0.07 mm on both sides of a substrate film (preferably, a coextruded double-layer film comprising polypropylene and an ethylene/ vinyl acetate copolymer) with a thickness of 0.2-0.5 mm and an elastic modulus of 150-1,500 MPa.
