PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method which does not cause impairment of the substrate surface used for embedding a catalyst and suppressing a scattering of the carbon nanotube of a carbon nanotube which is especially synthesized by vapor-phase growth and is sifted. SOLUTION: The recovery method of the carbon nanotube is characterized as follows. The carbon nanotube is deposited on the surface of the spherical material. The spherical body which the carbon nanotude deposits is taken out from a reaction furnace and sifting the carbon nanotube from the spherical body.
