PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transferring device provided with a pressing member and an retreating mechanism of the pressing member which do not need to be exchanged when printing on printing paper of various paper widths and which have low cost constitutions. SOLUTION: In the device, a transfer mask working linked with a paper width guide is installed between a photosensitive body and a pressing member and the pressing member can be retreated from the photosensitive body by an action of the transfer mask.
