PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start a vehicle and execute follow-up control without causing a feeling of delay on a driver's intention of starting the follow-up control. SOLUTION: When a driver operates a lever 7 as an intention of starting follow-up control from a stop, substantially simultaneously with the operation, the engine output of an engine 5 is increased beyond an output at the stop to start the vehicle 1 without delay, so that the follow-up control is executed without causing a feeling of delay on the driver's intention of starting the follow-up control.
