PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing misdetection of leakages in a heating medium in a heating apparatus for preventing misdetection, due to repetition of the repeated replenishment of the heating medium. SOLUTION: In addition to the repeated replenishment of the heating medium (hot water 6 and water W) to a heating medium tank (cistern 28), operation pause time is added as a determining element, thus preventing the misdetection of leakage in the heating medium when the pause time of the heating apparatus is long, and hence improving the reliability of operation.
