PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint facilitating pipe connecting work even using a spigot having no insertion marked line, in the pipe joint connected by inserting the spigot into a diametrically spread socket. SOLUTION: This pipe joint is connected by inserting a spigot 2 into a diametrically spread socket 1 formed in the pipe end. The pipe joint is characterized by displaying the dimension L of the inserting length of the spigot 2 in an external peripheral wall of the concerned diametrically spread socket 1.
