SEAL STRUCTURE OF FUEL INJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor in operation and reduce cost, by decreasing assembling man-hours and the number of part items. SOLUTION: In this seal structure of fuel injector 2, a gap between a through hole 7 formed in a cylinder head cover 6 and an upper end of the fuel injector 2 projecting to an upper side of the cylinder head cover 6 through the through hole 7 is sealed. A seal member 13 formed of heat resistance rubber is provided so as to be outwardly fitted to have a cap shape to the upper end of the fuel injector 2. A lip part 17 which downwardly opens to have a skirt shape is formed to an outer periphery of the seal member 13 so as to be tightly pressed in to contact with a whole periphery of the through hole 7.
