RDS broadcast receiver with PTY selection

摘要

The RDS receiver has an input device for selection between a number of standardized program type codes and an optical output device (5) coupled to a control unit, receiving a standardized program type code from a decoder for decoding RDS data for each selected reception frequency. Several selected program type codes are combined in a program type group indicated via the optical output device and selected via the input device. An Independent claim for a method for identifying a radio transmitter providing a required program type in a RDS radio receiver is also included.
