The conveyer drive control system of the parent Specification is modified in that operation of either limit switch causes the servomotor to be energized by a series of pulses (instead of continuously), of adjustable mark/space ratio, produced by relays, until reversal of the tensioning device takes place. When a limit switch re-closes upon such reversal brief energization in the opposite direction is automatically produced by the relay circuit Fig. 2 (not shown), the additional central switch for this purpose being dispensed with. The object of the modifications is to allow time for the tensioning device to respond to the servomotor corrections. |
