PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a printing time and realize printing of a clear color without enlarging the device in a color ink jet recording device using a UV ink. SOLUTION: This color jet printer 100 is equipped with a carriage 102, a Y head 104Y, an M head 104M, a C head 104C, and a K head 104K, UV lamps 105L and 105R, an X axis motor 106, a timing belt 107, a platen 108, a Y axis motor 109, a threaded shaft 110 and a bearing 111. In this case, the carriage 102 can move in the main scanning direction while being guided by an X axis guide bar 101. The Y head 104Y, the M head 104M, the C head 104C and the K HEAD 104K arranged on the carriage 102 in the auxiliary scanning direction. The UV lamps 105L and 105R are also arranged on the right and the left across a printing head 104 on the carriage 102. The X axis motor 106 moves the carriage 120 in the main scanning direction. The timing belt 107 is driven by the X axis motor 106. The platen 108 fixes an article to be printed 103 to the upper surface by air suction. The Y axis motor 109 moves the platen 108 in the auxiliary scanning direction. The threaded shaft 110 the bearing 111 constitute a screw feeding mechanism. |
