PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively removing water content such as moisture in an external wall by actively generating an air current in a ventilation layer due to a wind difference pressure between the windward and the lee ward even when it is cloudy without sunshine and it rains to provide a structural body of the external insulated outside wall enabling this method. SOLUTION: In this structural body of the eternal wall arranged as a member heat insulated from the outside at outer periphery of a wall of a building and having at least an external wall board 1, the ventilation layer 2, and a heat insulating material 3, the wind entering through an opening 11a formed on a surface of the external wall board 1a on the windward side is circulated in a ventilation layer 2a on the windward side, then is circulated in a ventilation layer 2b on the leeside through a connection pipe 6, and is further discharged through an opening 11b formed on a surface of an external wall board 1b on the lee ward to form an air current by the wind in both ventilation layers 2a, 2b on the windward and the lee ward in order to provide the method for removing moisture in the external insulated outside wall.
