PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter capable of reducing power consumption efficiently without exerting an influence on flow measurement. SOLUTION: The angular velocity of a rotor is calculated by a flow comparison part 7, and it is determined whether the angular velocity is stabilized or not. If determined to be stabilized, a switch part 6 is switched to the OFF state, and a supply voltage to a second sensor part 3 between first and second, two sensor parts 2, 3 is cut off.
