PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control stud not influenced by spring rigidity markedly effected on the damping performance of a vibration energy absorbing part, that is, obscure beam rigidity of a beam of a main body structure. SOLUTION: This vibration control stud 14 of a building structure is formed by posts 1 and beams 3. An inner steel plate 27b fixed to one stud member 14b made by wide flange shapes H-section steel and an outer steel plate 14a fixed to the other stud member 14a are alternately stacked in single layer or in multi-layer, and a visco-elastic body 15 is held between them to form a visco-elastic damper 17, both or one of the stud members 14a, 14b is fixed to a rigidity adjusting beam 13, and the rigidity adjusting beam 13 is supported near both end parts of the beam 3 of the main beam structure through a fixed part 12.
