PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for laying a drain pipe of a building, which meets standards based on 'Law for Promoting Quality Assurance about Housing', prevents damage to a house, and enables the inspection and replacement of the drain pipe. SOLUTION: In the structure A for laying the drain pipe of the building, the drain pipe 3 for discharging drainage inside the building into a drainage line outside the building is provided in such a manner as to pass through a concrete layer 41 constituting a foundation part of the building, which is formed under a floor of the building. A sleeve pipe 5 having openings inside and outside the building is buried in the concrete layer 41. A flexible pipe 31 is inserted into the sleeve pipe 5 so as to pass through the concrete layer 41. A gap between the sleeve pipe 5 and the drain pipe 32 (31) is blocked with an annular sealant 10 in a watertight manner on a side of an opening end of the sleeve pipe 5, which is located outside the building.
