PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing used in a continuous hot-dip metal plating bath, which prevents hot-dip metal from being enclosed and remaining in a space between a ceramic member and a metallic bearing holder for holding the member, when raising the bearing from the bath, and which thereby prevents the ceramic member from cracking. SOLUTION: The bearing comprises the metallic bearing holder and the ceramic member. The metallic bearing holder is characterized by having a groove all over the length in the shaft direction on its region of which the bearing receives load due to sliding with a roll shaft, arranged inside the bearing holder, by arranging the ceramic member with a partly cylindrical shape having a curved surface on a sliding side with the roll shaft, in the groove of the bearing holder, and by forming a space for discharging the hot-dip metal, between the internal surface of the groove on the bearing holder and the external surface of the ceramic member which faces to the holder.
