DENDRITIC IRON-ALUMINUM-CARBON COMPLEX, CARBON NONOTREE AND THE PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nano-scale materials having a shape except tubular shape and to provide the production method. SOLUTION: The dendritic iron-aluminum-carbon complex by depositing carbon on iron-aluminum dendrite and the carbon tree obtained by removing iron-aluminum dendrite from the complex as follows. Under reduced pressure or in the inert gas atmosphere, the dendritic iron-aluminum-carbon complex is obtained by heat-treating (a) iron chloride, (b) aluminum chloride and (c) compound containing fluorine and carbon. The carbon nonotree is produced by removing the iron-aluminum dendrite from the complex by leaving the wall which consists of carbon.
