PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a decorated pottery body which is capable of arranging and sintering images having high resolution and excellent gradation characteristic on the surfaces of building materials, such as art tiles, and pottery materials, such as ceramic materials, by using a transfer sheet having excellent film formability of transfer layers while maintaining a high color development density and are particularly excellent in adhesiveness and transferability of multicolor images. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the decorated pottery body includes an image forming process step of forming the inorganic pigment image consisting of a material containing a terpene phenolic resin on the surface of an image receiving body, an arranging process step of arranging the inorganic pigment image together with a portion or the whole of the image receiving body on the surface of the pottery material and a firing process step of heating and sintering the pottery material arranged with the inorganic pigment image.
