PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of abnormalities such as inclined feeding or double feeding by stably pressing a recording paper loaded on a swinging plate against a paper feed roller. SOLUTION: The swinging plate 4 for accommodating the recording papers P, P... is coupled to a swinging gear 41 with a swinging link 7 therebetween and is swung along with the rotation of the swinging gear 41. A paper feed gear 21 for rotating a paper feed roller 2 is engaged with a motor gear 22 of an output terminal of a motor M through a driving gear 5 and the swinging gear 41 is engaged with a following gear 6. The following gear 6 is displaced along with movement of an ink head 1 in a thrust direction to selectively engage the paper supply gear 21 with the swinging gear 41 so that the rotation of the paper feed ear 2 is started after the recording papers P... are pressed against the paper feed roller 21 by the swinging movement of the swinging plate 4.
