PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening/closing mechanism capable of preventing the protruding of the door folded or bent forward when the door is used and opened in a narrow passage by which the traffic is likely to be disturbed, or capable of preventing the distortion of rail which is subjected to an eccentric load by the dead weight of the door protruded forward in a direction almost perpendicular to the rail when the door is open. SOLUTION: This mechanism comprises a sliding door 51 which slides along an upper end guide rail 4u or a lower end guide rail 4d and a swing door 50 which rotates the side of a free end 50a by using a hinge 52 provided at the sliding door 51.
