PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle measuring device capable of monitoring and evaluating a measuring sensor signal on accuracy and reliability of the signal. SOLUTION: This device includes an angle sensor for supplying two sensor signals having phases shifted mutually at 90 degrees and having actual amplitude values, and a signal processing device for enabling to calculate and/or utilize a prescribed value of a selection circuit and/or a measured value and/or an expected amplitude value of the sensor signal corresponding to an operation parameter of this angle measuring device, enabling to calculate and/or utilize plural graded restriction values to the deviation between the expected amplitude value of the sensor signal and the actual amplitude value, fixing the range of plural values to the deviation by the graded restriction values, comparing the expected amplitude value of the sensor signal with the actual amplitude value, determining the deviation between the expected amplitude value and the actual amplitude value, determining the range of the value wherein the determined deviation is generated, and generating an error signal including reliability classification information on the range of the value wherein the determined deviation between the expected amplitude value of the sensor signal and the actual amplitude value is generated.
