PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus, a processing method therefor and a program which enable smooth execution of an initial remaining paper check and an automatic delivery operation, in regard to the recording apparatus constituted of a plurality of combined units. SOLUTION: In the recording apparatus equipped with the main body of the recording apparatus and an optional unit connected to the main body, it is determined whether an initial rotation can be executed in each of the main body and the unit (ref. S101-103). When it is determined that the initial rotation can be executed in all of the body and the unit, an instruction for the initial rotation is given to them (S104) and each of them is made to conduct the initial rotation, while detection of remaining paper in each of them is conducted in the initial rotation (S105-108). When the remaining paper is detected, an instruction for an urgent stop is given to all of them (S109) and it is determined whether each of them can execute automatic delivery (S110-112). When it is determined that all of them can execute the automatic delivery, an instruction for the automatic delivery is given to all of them (S113). |
