PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device capable of correcting not only the position of each color pattern with respect to a reference color but also the printing position of a specified pattern, and printing the corrected result at an exact position on a medium to be printed. SOLUTION: This color image forming device is equipped with photoreceptors for forming a toner pattern for every color constituting a color image and forms a color image by superposing the respective toner patterns. In the device, a correcting device is arranged to be opposed to a transfer body to which the toner pattern formed by the photoreceptor is transferred, detects each color toner pattern transferred to the transfer body, calculates the deviation of another color toner pattern with respect to the reference color toner pattern from each detected color toner pattern so as to correct the deviation and also calculates the deviation of the toner color used in the specified pattern so as to correct the deviation. |
