<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic type hydraulic control valve added thereto, in addition to the existing functions, a drain mode function of discharging the operating oil from an advance angle side pressure chamber and a lag angle side pressure chamber, respectively, without causing the diameter and total length increases of the oil pressure control valve. SOLUTION: There is provided a shaft 46, which has discontinued with force- fitting but engaged with a plunger 45, and as a result the plunger 45 enables to improve the magnetic flux permeating therethrough and to enhance the efficiency of the magnetic circuit. The solenoid unit forming the magnetic circuit has a stator core 42 formed with a taper portion 55, tapered into a certain shape, gradually decreasing its diameter toward the inner cylindrical part 52 of a yoke 41 from the outer circumferential part of an attracting portion 54, and the stator core 42 prompts not only to decrease the magnetic flux deviating therefrom toward the side face of the plunger 45, but also to increase the distribution amount of the magnetic flux passing in the stroke direction of the plunger 45, thereby obtaining a required stroke, i.e., 3.6 mm, which enables drain mode functions.</p> |
