PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification process for mevalolactone methacrylate ester with industrial advantage. SOLUTION: In the objective purification process for mevalolactone methacrylate ester, crude mevalolactone methacrylate is characteristically recrystallized by use of one or two or more kinds of solvents selected from the group consisting of ethers, esters and aromatic hydrocarbons.
