PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect an outer ring member to a shaft member certainly only by simple machining without using a means like welding. SOLUTION: In the outer ring member 12 made from the cylindrical material like as pipe, etc., which consists of the larger diameter part 16 forming the circle configuration at one mouth part and the small diameter part 18 forming the neck part of circle configuration at the other mouth part, the taper part 26 and the circular groove 28 along the internal circumference face of the above taper part 26 are formed on the internal circumference face in the vicinity of the above small diameter part 18. Thereby, the fitting part 38 of the shaft member 14 is fitted to the hole 20 of the outer ring member 12, and the end of the fitting part 38 of the shaft member 14 is deformed plastically under the pressurized action by the punch 42. The elastomer that flows plastically is pushed into the taper part 26 of the outer ring member 12 and also the circular groove 28, and the outer ring member 12 and shaft member 14 are connected as the unit.
