PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively test a lens to be tested. SOLUTION: At least a display means, which displays a measurement result of cylindrical refracting power and two measurement results of spherical refracting power in the case the cylindrical refracting power is read in the plus side and the minus side on an identical screen, is employed. Furthermore, a switching means, which switches a mode displaying the two measurement results of spherical refracting power and another mode displaying one measurement result of spherical refracting power in the case the cylindrical refracting power is read in either the plus side or the minus side, is employed. In addition, a judgement means that judges which absolute value is large about the two results of spherical refracting power is employed, and the display means also displays the result of the judgement.
