PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate outputting of a high-temperature hot water due to misoperations during hot-water pouring functioning operation in a water heater, in which both the hot-water pouring function and the water-heating function can be used simultaneously. SOLUTION: A remote operating unit used for the water heater has the hot-water pouring function to a bathtub; the operation unit comprises a hot-water temperature setting means for setting the pouring hot water temperature, a water-heating temperature setting means for setting the water-heating temperature, a set temperature storage means for storing the pouring hot-water temperature and the water-heating temperature set by these set temperature setting means, and a control means for controlling them. In this unit, the control means inhibits updating of the storage of the water heating temperature of the storage means during the operation of the hot water pouring function, and the effect is displayed on a display means.
