PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new inexpensive low-carat gold alloy for casting which has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance and can take the place of gold-silver-palladium alloy. SOLUTION: The low-carat gold alloy for casting has a composition consisting of, by weight, 10-50% Au, 0.5-3% of (Ti+Cr), 0-5% of (Pd+Pt) and the balance Cu.
