PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk cartridge cover wherein entrance of dust into a disk cartridge when a disk medium is not in use can be reliably prevented and an amount of a material used can be suppressed. SOLUTION: While the disk cartridge cover 70 is held on the disk cartridge 10 by a left holder 76 and a right holder 78, a bottom cover 72 and a front cover 74 cover an opening 14 for accessing to the disk medium, and the left holder 76 covers a first guide groove 12A equipped with a shutter engaging portion 48 for operating a first shutter member 40. Thus, while the cover is compact and an amount of the used material is suppressed, dust can be prevented from attaching to the disk medium even if the first shutter member 40 or the like malfunctions during transportation or the like of the disk cartridge 10.
