PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely improve the durability of a packaging box wherein even if the box is of the type such that an insertion part is inserted into an incision to lock a cover, the cover can be firmly locked and moreover the insertion part can be repeatedly inserted into the incision. SOLUTION: The packaging box is assembled from one sheet by folding it into a box-like form so that articles can be stored in a space formed by the sheet. The box has a bottom panel 3, a plurality of side panels 24, and a cover panel 21. An incision 25, which is long and the central portion of which the bent into a U-shape, is provided at a side end of the side panel 24, thereby forming a U-shaped flap 26. If an insertion part 23 protruding from the cover panel 21 is inserted into the incision 25 to close the panel 21, the insertion part 23 is held by the flap 26.
