PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical printer having a simple structure and advantageous to be miniaturized and capable being readily lowered in operation sound. SOLUTION: A medium pressing mechanism for pressing a photosensitive body which is not sensitized in a printing medium M of which the predetermined part is sensitized comprises a support 200a for supporting the printing medium M, a piezoelectric actuator 275b disposed opposite to the support 200a with the printing medium M therebetween, and driving circuit for applying a driving voltage signal to the piezoelectric actuator 275b. The piezoelectric actuator 275b presses the printing medium M supported by the support 200a corresponding to the driving voltage signal from the driving circuit.
