PURPOSE: A snow melting device of a tongue rail part for a point is provided to effectively melt snow on the point even during snowflakes don't flutter in the air, and to reduce the consumption of energy. CONSTITUTION: The snow melting device of a tongue rail part for a point comprises a snow detecting sensor(5) for detecting the existence of snow between a tongue rail and a fixed rail; a temperature sensor(4) for detecting a temperature of a railroad; a heater(3) using an electric device; and a control part for controlling a heat generating degree of the heater according to information about the existence of snow and the temperature of the railroad.
