PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material for molding large-sized thin plate-like molded products in high accuracy. SOLUTION: This molding material for large-sized thin plate-like molded products containing phenol resin or epoxy resin and graphite is characterized in that the molding material has the following particle size distribution: (A) a molding material having <=0.25 mm thickness occupies >=70 wt.% and <=95 wt.%; (B) a molding material having 0.25-1 mm thickness occupies >=1 wt.% and <=30 wt.% and (C) a molding material having >=1 mm thickness occupies <=4 wt.%.
