PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate composition having excellent molding properties such as mold releasability and transfer property in molding and suitable for the use as an optical material, especially as a substrate for optical recording disk and provide a disk substrate for optical recording composed of the polycarbonate composition. SOLUTION: The aromatic polycarbonate resin composition is composed of an aromatic polycarbonate resin having a terminal hydroxy concentration falling within a specific range and a molecular weight distribution (Mz/Mw) falling within a specific range and an ester compound of a specific aliphatic carboxylic acid and a polyhydric aliphatic alcohol.
