METHOD FOR PRODUCING AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF POLYURETHANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane, capable of shortening the time necessary for distilling out prescribed amounts of organic solvent and water, and reducing the coagulation and skin-formation by using a particular treating apparatus. SOLUTION: The method for the production of an aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane comprises the treatment of an aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane optionally containing an organic solvent in a stirring treatment apparatus furnished with one or plural liquid-transfer members having opened both ends to remove the solvent and/or reduce the water content of the dispersion.
