PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a tape adhering workability to a flap, reduce the number of sealing steps and improve a sealing productivity. SOLUTION: There is provided a sealing apparatus 10 comprised of a tape adhering device 13 in which an inner surface of a flap 2 is supported while the flap 2 is being extended from one side surface of an envelope body 1 and a part in a width direction of an adhering tape 3 supplied by a tape supplying device 12 is adhered to an outer surface of the flap 2; and a flap adhering device 14 for folding the flap 2 having the adhering tape 3 adhered thereto against one side surface of the envelope body 1 and adhering a residual part in the width direction of the adhering tape 3 against the other side surface of the envelope body 1. |
