PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam molded article for the production of a paper-based cushioning material having excellent elastic property and composed of regenerated organic fibrous material such as waste paper, a laminated foam molded article produced by laminating paper, etc., to the foam molded article, an apparatus for the production of the article and a method for producing the article. SOLUTION: The production facility for the foam molded article is provided with a kneading machine to knead a fibrous material and an aqueous solution to produce a kneaded mixture, a foaming machine to expand the kneaded mixture and produce a foamed article, a molding machine to mold the foamed material to a plate form and a drier to dry the foam molded article. The molding machine is provided with a nozzle to extrude the foamed material through the extrusion port toward the upper face of a molding plate substrate, the plate substrate is horizontally transferred relative to the nozzle and the width of the extrusion port of the nozzle is nearly same as the width of the plate- formed foam molded article. The invention further discloses a foam molded article laminated with paper, etc., and a method for producing the article. |
