PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated type display device which can be made compact by narrowing the width of a frame surrounding a display region, as much as possible. SOLUTION: A display device 2 has display elements 6B, 6G and 6R. With respect to an electrode terminal region 22 of a scanning electrode 18, an electrode terminal region 22R is arranged on the opposite side of electrode terminal regions 22B and 22G opposite across a substrate. A substrate 26, on which a drive circuit 24 is mounted is connected to the electrode terminal 22G. The terminals 22B and 22G are connected to the substrate 26 via substrates 28 and 30. Thus, scanning electrodes 18B, 18G and 18R of the elements 6B, 6G and 6R are made common to each other.
