PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter apparatus which stably operates two light shielding blades, reduces running resistance, and can prevent light leakage in a closed state. SOLUTION: In the shutter apparatus having the two light shielding blades 2, 3 driven so as to open or close relative to a body 1 and closing an optical path in an overlapped state in the direction of an optical axis, the two light shielding blades are formed as a curved shape (a bending shape) protruding toward another light shielding blade. When the two light shielding blades are in a closed position, tips 2a, 3a of the light shielding blades in a closed direction are pressed to and abutted on stoppers 1a, 1b provided in the body.
