PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an oil specimen for carrying out the x-ray fluorescent analysis with quantitatively under limit of about 0.1 ppm, in which sulfur constituent included in the oil specimen is extracted. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution, in which an extracting material dissolves, is added to the oil specimen, and then an extracted solution is made by extracting the sulfur constituent included in the oil specimen. Then, the extracted solution is separated from oil constituent in the oil specimen, dripped onto a filter paper and dried.
