PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work carrying device reducing time loss by switching of operations by simplifying an actuator for elevating/lowering a carrier table and moving the table in the longitudinal direction without requiring the confirmation of the position of the carrier table, etc., by a sensor, etc., and electric interlock. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the carrier table 3 provided elevatably/descendably and movably in the longitudinal direction, a table moving means for elevating/lowering the carrier table 3 and moving the table 3 in the longitudinal direction and a table moving and controlling means 14 for adjusting elevating/lowering and moving in the longitudinal direction of the carrier table 3. A support rod 22 and a cam follower 5 are mounted on a lower part of the carrier table 3. At a tip of a cam moving means 8, linear moving cam 4 with carrier claws 6 and 7 mounted in front and rear positions is provided. The operations are adjusted by the table moving and controlling means 14.
