PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To choose a working fluid for Rankine cycle, so as to improve the cycle efficiency. SOLUTION: A working fluid, of which Y value (Y=ηth×δh×ρ/ΔP) indicates a maximum is used by choosing for X value (X=Pc/Pcr), where Pc is saturated vapor pressure at 45 deg.C as the working fluid, Pcr is critical pressure,ηth is Rankine theoretical efficiency,δh is enthalpy different at output and inlet ports,ρis density at the outlet and inlets of an expansion machine, andΔis pressurization difference by a liquid pump.
