<p>A method for producing granulated products, using a starting material fed into the granulator with controlled recycling of a part of the granulated material and of a wetting feed, with regulation of the ratio of solid materials to wetting material and drying of the resultant granulate with heat control, followed by classification according to size and conditioning of the product, is carried out by measuring the specific yield of marketable fractions of the granulated product and regulating, as a function of this reading, the feed of recycled material and the ratio between the wetting material feed and the total feed of starting material and recycled material, while regulating the heat used in drying by stabilising the specific heat loading. Specifically, the specific heat loading is the ratio between the temp. of the heating medium and the quantity of material supplied to the heater per unit time. The method is esp. applicable to the prodn. of artificial fertiliser.</p> |
