PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detent device capable of preventing the occurrence of play in the direction of rotation, facilitating mutual positioning, and preventing the occurrence of distortion due to fitting. SOLUTION: In this detent device consisting of a rotary body A and an additionally provided body B locked and fixed to it and fitting a key projecting bar D on the other side into a key groove C in either of the rotary body and the additionally provided body to fix them so as to prevent relative rotation, a width of the key groove is set to be larger than that of the key projecting bar, and an elastic member F whose free shape is wider than a width of a clearance E formed between them is arranged in the clearance in a compressed condition. The clearance is filled up due to the elasticity of the elastic member, the distortion due to fitting does not occur, play in the direction of rotation is eliminated, and mutual positioning is facilitated. |
