<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable information printer capable of printing variable information in an analog printing without using a mechanical counter. SOLUTION: In a rotary press, printing units of the number corresponding to digits of varying information are prepared, printing of first digit, tenth digit ...are in charge of the respective units. The diameters of the respective plate cylinders are differentiated, and hence the number of stages of printing is changed. A combination of numbers having no common divisor are employed as the number of the stages of a printing surface of a press plate. Thus, a deviation at each stage per shot can be generated. The information of a plurality of digits can be changed by the combination of the deviations.</p> |
