PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatula causing a user to get tired less by reducing the weight of a handle and preventing the hand holding a cutter from colliding against the side end of a base unit even when the side end of the spatula plate is used. SOLUTION: The spatula is provided with the spatula plate and the handle while the spatula plate is formed of a metallic plate so as to be extended in the lateral direction of the same and is connected to the base unit. The handle comprises a grip unit and a base unit extended laterally at the base end of the handle unit. The handle is provided with at least three holes while the base unit of handle is not extended across the total length of the spatula plate and a distance from the side end of the base unit to the side end of the spatula plate is at least 3 cm.
