PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock-up control device of a power transmission device capable of appropriately connecting/disconnecting the lock-up device, without being influenced during speed change. SOLUTION: The power transmittion device is provided with a fluid coupling for transmitting a motive power at an engine E side to a transmission T/M side, and a speed change clutch 3 for connecting/disconnecting the transmission T/M side, and a lock-up device 20 for connecting/disconnecting the fluid coupling 2 on the fluid coupling 2. The power transmittion device is provided with a gear-in state detection means, and a control device 22 for carrying out a connection/disconnection operation of the lock-up device 20, and the control device 22 carries out connection/disconnection operation of the lock-up device 20, when it is only in the gear-in state.
