PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a driving power source, capable of controlling its operation and stoppage, based on a plurality of different conditions. SOLUTION: This control device for a driving power source is provided with a control means (step S1 or S5) for controlling the operation and its stop of the driving power source, based on the amount of heat generated, depending on the operation thereof, and further on the outside air temperature of a vehicle on which the driving power source is mounted.
