PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear gel detergent composition which is stable even when stored at low or high temperatures, is a clear gel detergent with a hardness suitable for the use, is excellent in foaming properties and in feeling in use, and is little irritative. SOLUTION: This clear gel detergent composition contains (A) 0.1-20 wt.% fatty acid alkanolamide surfactant, (B) 25-70 wt.% fatty acid salt, and (C) 30-75 wt.% water.
